Ribbon Cutting for Orthopedic Physical Therapy of Portland

[PORTLAND, TX-] The Portland Chamber of Commerce hosted a Ribbon Cutting ceremony for Orthopedic Physical Therapy on Friday, September 6 at 509 Houston Street, Portland, Texas.  Orthopedic Physical Therapy is excited to announce they have opened a 3rd location in the Coastal Bend to better serve patients.

Orthopedic Physical Therapy specializes in acute orthopedic injuries, manual therapy, work injuries, sports injuries, FCE testing, and vestibular pathologies using individualized programs. Their licensed physical therapist Richard Wymer has 38 years’ experience and he enjoys working with neck, back and joint issues. Their practice works with a wide variety of patients, from young adolescent to seniors.

Therapy includes pre- operative and post- operative treatment, personal injury care in coordination with attorneys and provides educations to each patient. Patients experiencing pain, decreased functionality ability or chronic disease state who are not surgery candidates can benefit from physical therapy, patients that have been experiencing pain or decreased functional activity who are considering surgery as an option can benefit from a physical therapy program and even patients having experienced a musculo-skeletal surgery often have difficulty regaining proper movement and function and can benefit from a physical therapy program.

Orthopedic Physical Therapy is open Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM. To set up your first appointment give them a call at 361.704.6231. You can visit them online at www.orthopedic-pt.com to learn more or to see one of their many other locations.
