The Manger Project

  • Share:
Name: The Manger Project
Date: December 5, 2020
Time: 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM CST
Event Description:
The Manger Project is a one-of-a-kind Christmas tradition that helps families focus on the true meaning of Christmas while building a wooden manger. This hands-on experience gives parents a chance to teach their kids hard work, perseverance and most importantly, why the manger (God coming to earth as a baby) is so important to their faith. For families who are new to Christian faith or are only beginning to explore it, this simple wooden structure will evoke curiosity and will spark some interesting discussions. This will be a socially distanced event. Volunteers and staff will be wearing masks and we ask that participants over 10 wear masks when they can't socially distance. As always, please do not come if you or anyone you have been in contact with has been sick. We hope to have hot chocolate and cookie decorating at each individual table. There will be a cookie decorating contest and the winner will be contacted after the event and will receive a prize. This event will cost $15 a family. That 15 dollars will get you a manger kit, an advent book, and other Christmas goodies. This event will have a cap of 20 families with one kit per family.
