Event Description:
2023-2024 Class XVII is hosting a Community Essentials Drive to support the G-PISD Family Resource Center's SECOND YEAR ANNIVERSARY! Join us in helping local families in need by donating non-perishable food items, cleaning supplies, and hygiene products.
2023-2024 Leadership Portland Class XVII Project raised $25,000 in 2024 together with ArcelorMittal Texas HBI, Cheniere Energy, Gulf Coast Growth Ventures, Chemours, Port of Corpus Christi, Schwab, Rally Credit Union, and Patric Luera State Farm - we helped build the G-PISD Wildcat Food Pantry with a goal to build a Family Resource Center.
The project is continuing to grow and is in it's second year running, the G-PISD Maintenance, Transportation Facility, and Family Resource Center. For more information, please email Sharon Reckaway, Director of Family and Community Engagement at sreckaway@g-pisd.org.
