2023-2024 Class XVII is hosting a Thanksgiving Food Drive to support the G-PISD Wildcat Food Pantry's ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY! Join us in helping local families in need by donating non-perishable food items.
2023-2024 Leadership Portland Class XVII Project raised $25,000 in 2024 together with ArcelorMittal Texas HBI, Cheniere Energy, Gulf Coast Growth Ventures, Chemours, Port of Corpus Christi, Schwab, Rally Credit Union, and Patric Luera State Farm - we helped build the G-PISD Wildcat Food Pantry with a goal to build a Family Resource Center.
The project is continuing to grow and on October 9, 2025, G-PISD broke ground for the new
G-PISD Maintenance, Transportation Facility, and Family Resource Center. Along with a new bus barn, this project includes additions and renovations to the existing bus barn, a new facility that will house multiple departments and the Family Resource Center/G-PISD Wildcat Food Pantry as well as a new grounds shop, pictured below.
